Individual Psychotherapy for Psychotherapists

Our senior clinicians specialize in facilitating Psychotherapy or Supervision for Professionals in the Mental Health field. We believe that the therapist's own psychotherapy is a delicate and necessary instrument through which she, he or they can better trust their expertise and ability to remain fully present when working with their own clients.  We believe the therapist's own therapy encourages the mastery of unconditional self-love and acceptance which concurrently, may increase the capacity to identify and manage countertransference in the therapeutic relationship with their own clients. We have extensive training in evidence based therapeutic modalities (ART, CBT, DBT, ACT) and Interpersonal Psychotherapy. Mindfulness and Acceptance based theories; as well as Buddhist teachings on mindfulness, stress reduction techniques, and other non-traditional approaches to mood management and overall well being are utilized.
